Yesterday, Years 3 - 6 had their first swimming lesson of the term at Berkhamsted School. The facilities are superb and the quality of the teaching was very good. We are looking forward to seeing the progress children make in their swimming over the course of this term.
Due to the size of the pool, children are able to swim in two groups for the best part of an hour which should have a big impact on the progress they make in their swimming lessons. Children who have had more experience with swimming are engaging in time trials and building their stamina to cover greater distances.
