Two weeks ago, during the week of World Book Day, Mrs Lilley organised a book sale, 'Buddy Reading' across the school as well as a sponsored read. The purpose of the events were two-fold: To continue to promote a love of literature and an enjoyment of reading as well as to raise money for new books across the school.
We are delighted with the phenomenal amount of money raised in such a short period of time! Mrs Lilley will be asking each class to vote on books they would like in their class reading areas as well as speaking to the school council about the texts they would like to see in the library. Well done to all involved!
