School Council

Every year group, from Year 1 and up, has a representative on the school council. The school council meet once a week to discuss issues/suggestions raised through their ‘suggestion boxes’ (available for all children to make suggestions).
In the last 12 months, the school council have conducted pupil surveys, formulated playground rules and have had the responsibility for sharing the pupils' views on new playground markings.
Recently, they led a guided tour of our school for the Mayor and her entourage.
They have been sharing the views of their peers as they plan the setting up of a 'Healthy Friday Tuck Shop'.
We will be electing our next school council early in the new academic year.
