Science in the Snow

21st January 2013

This afternoon, Years 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 conducted science investigations in the snow. They were either building snowmen or 'snow towers' using a range of methods and then checking which had the best impact. They carefully considered their methods as well as making predictions about what would happen.

We discussed 'fair testing' and changing just one factor to ensure their test was fair.  We plan to check tomorrow to see which of our 'Snow Towers' and snowmen have lasted the night.
