Year Three/Four

Welcome to Year Three and Year Four at Great Gaddesden School.

Our class teachers are Mr Young and Mrs De Rouffignac.

Below you will see the new home learning packs. Learning packs will be updated on a weekly basis.

Please remember to use the class email y3and4@greatgaddesden.herts.sch.uk to send in any work that gets completed, so that we can update our photo album!

Please be assured that all home learning is valued learning and we are grateful for everything you are doing for your children during this time.

Home learning for Year 3
Home learning for Year 4

To the children of Year 4,

Firstly, I look forward to seeing you return on Monday, as part of the phased return of children back into our school.

From Wednesday onwards, you will be required to complete home learning tasks that have been set through Google Classroom. Please log in everyday after 8am and your tasks will be listed in 'Classwork' page. Please note there is no need print any of the documents and there is no option to save the document (everything on the cloud autosaves). You just need to open the document, edit away and then send it in.

For one of the maths activities it asks you to use an app called Kami - please log into Kami using your school Google Account.

As always, if you require any help with your home learning either leave a private comment on the assignment page or send an emaul to the class email address.

If you don't have access to the Google Classroom platform, please continue to access the resources provided on the Oak National Academy website (links below).

Kind regards,

Mr Young

How to print worksheets from the Oak National Academy website.

I have created a quick demo video, which guides you thorough the step outlined below.

1) Please ensure that you are accessing the website through the Chrome Browser and you are logged into an active Google account (school or personal).

2) As soon as you get to the worksheet section, the Google slides are automatically shared with your Google account.

3) To access them, navigate to www.drive.google.com and click on the 'shared with me' button (usually on the left-hand side. You will then see the document from the lesson.

4) Click on the document to open it in a new browser. You will then the see the print icon to set up the printing of the document.

If you are using an iOS or Android device, the same can be achieved by downloading the Google Chrome app and Google Drive app and logging in with Google account.

I hope this help,

Mr Young
