Earlier this term, the whole school worked towards creating a piece of Art work themed around our local area. Children across the school helped to create a piece which includes the school, the church and the water meadows as well as some local wildlife.
Many thanks to Julia Rigby, the artist who designed the piece. Across this academic year we are working to improve the quality of teaching and learning in the Arts and opportunities to create collaborative pieces of work, with professional artists, is just one example of the improvements being made. Thanks to Mrs Lilley, our Art Subject Leader, for organising the day.
