This academic year, we are working to improve the quality of teaching and learning in 'The Arts'. This work will include improvements to the quality of experiences in Art, Design & Technology, Music and Drama. As part of this work we are utilising the expertise of a local theatre group (Hurst Childrens' Theatre Group).
On Monday, every class had a performing arts workshop with Sophia (from Hurst Childrens' Theatre Group). It was truly excellent to see the enthusiasm and engagement from all. We are looking forward to using increased drama in class along with these workshops to impact on the quality of creative writing.
